Telepsychiatry and Onsite (Monday through Friday, Days)

PSIMED Corrections, LLC, a leading behavioral health provider, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner. Responsible for extending psychiatric services by providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment and psychotherapy to clients with mild to serious mental and emotional issues in West Virginia Corrections facilities.

Several days each week at Mount Olive Correctional Complex and Telepsych.

Requirements

Requires current Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state of West Virginia, valid and in good standing.

Prescriptive authority and DEA license.

Must have experience which indicates knowledge of mental health services, diagnoses and treatment of major mental disorders and mental status techniques.

Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology especially pertaining to mental health.
