Nurse Practitioner (NP), Part-Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team at a walk-in primary care clinic. The NP will provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care to adult patient population during the morning hours, starting from 9:30am through 01:30pm, up to 4 days per week.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across various specialties at a primary care level.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions through diagnostic evaluation and medication administration.
• Utilize accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10, CPT).
• Engage in case management activities.
• Support infection control protocols and sterile processing procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients on health coaching topics including nutrition, family planning, medication adherence, and disease prevention.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license & NP Furnishing license, with current certification to practice independently or under physician's supervision in California;
• Proven experience in a clinical environment, skilled in diagnostic evaluation;
• Professional Liability insurance is required;
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred for emergency roles.

Pay: $100.00 per hour
