Schedule & Shift: 5x8s | Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week | Day Shift (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Duration: 15 Weeks
Pay Rate: Up to $3,550 weekly

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Practitioner – Oncology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with attending physicians in the management of oncology and acute care patients
• Document subjective and objective findings, assessments, and treatment plans in the medical record
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
• Utilize prescriptive authority in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Deliver high-quality patient care with minimal orientation and supervision
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care within the inpatient hospital setting
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year Nurse Practitioner experience required
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license required
• NP certification aligned with specialty required
• Medicare NPI number or eligibility required
• Current CPR certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete pre-employment health clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oncology experience strongly preferred
• Prior inpatient hospital experience highly preferred
• Acute care experience preferred
• Physician Assistant candidates with NYS licensure or NCCPA certification may be considered
