Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant will work in collaboration with the physician(s) in the hospital-based, outpatient setting with patients who have chronic pain. They will require a high level of independent clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

No nights. No call. No holidays. No weekends.

Full-time: 4 days, 8-hour shifts

Work locations required: Mount Vernon, OH & Ashland, OH (occasional coverage in Centerburg, OH)

Job Responsibilities

• Work autonomously in a hospital-based outpatient pain clinic
• See a mix of new patients and established patients with chronic pain in a fast-paced environment
• Order procedures for collaborating physician
• Conservative medication management while utilizing drug screens, pill counts, etc.
• Participate in marketing events (lunch & learns, med staff meetings, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Highly motivated and team oriented
• Safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management
• Graduated from an accredited NP/PA program
• Certification from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc...)
• Requires full prescriptive authority upon employment
• Current DEA/DEA eligible in the state of Ohio

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
