Status: Full-Time | Midnights
Schedule: 7pm – 7am (three 12hr shifts every 2 weeks and four 12hr shifts every 3 weeks)
Call/Weekends: Every other weekend
Position Overview:
Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospital Medicine team at our Detroit campus. This role focuses on the comprehensive inpatient management of a diverse patient population, including completion of H&Ps, daily progress notes, discharge summaries, patient rounding, and ensuring timely disposition. The provider will perform ongoing assessments and reassessments based on changes in patient status while collaborating closely with Hospital Medicine physician attendings, Emergency Department and inpatient nursing staff, and consulting teams. Our APP team is well-supported within the medical group, with structured onboarding and strong physician collaboration, allowing providers to work at the top of their license while developing and implementing treatment plans in a dynamic, team-based environment.
