We are seeking a hardworking Nurse Practioner (NP) to join our growing primary care/internal medicine practice. The NP will be responsible for assisting patients in maintaining health through preventative screenings, implementing management plans for chronic conditions and diagnosing/treating acute illnesses and injuries. In addition to office patients, the practice provides care to hospital patients. The ideal candidate will have office experience (inpatient experience a plus).
In collaboration with supervising physician, the NP directly manages the care of ill patients in the office and at hospital. The NP is an expert in patient care who provides quality care, performs patient assessments, H & Ps, and takes a thorough medical history. The NP can order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests. The NP develops medical diagnoses, appropriate treatment plan, prescribes medical regimen, and educates patients/family regarding diagnosis and plan of care. The NP works directly with physicians, staff, administration, patients and families to ensure quality of care across the practice. The NP is a clinical team leader that intervenes and manages deteriorating patients. The NP integrates evidence-based practice and technological advances into their scope of practice. The NP may participate in research initiatives, data collection, quality improvement, discharge planning, and coordination of patient care within the area of practice. The NP participates in and facilitates patient throughput, optimal patient outcomes, optimal length of stay (if inpatient) and improved patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Degrees: NP Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Drug Enforcement Administration. Additional Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience credit required. Obtain medical staff credentialing and privileges. Compliant with state requirements for CEUs and licensure renewal. DEA License required as per specialty. Advanced Cardiac Life Support required as per specialty. National Certification.
Compensation:
Competitive Salary commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
