Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive clinical background, demonstrating expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across diverse medical settings. Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, utilizing advanced physiology knowledge and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication administration, injection procedures, and wound care such as suturing.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine.
  • Perform specialized procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, spinal taps, and dermal fillers while adhering to sterile processing and aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system Practice Fusion to document medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and post-acute care strategies.
  • Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient safety and care standards.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current licensure in the relevant state or region.
  • Demonstrated experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
  • Strong background in medical office procedures.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching topics and medication administration protocols.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
