Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Duties

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using the EMR system eClinicalWorks.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with diverse needs including acute pain management, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and chronic disease management.
• Perform procedures including suturing, venipuncture, catheterization
• Manage medication administration and IV infusions while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical protocols.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations utilizing sonography, laboratory testing (including ICD-10/ICD-9 coding), medical imaging, and specimen collection/processing.
• Support telehealth consultations by leveraging telemedicine platforms to extend care beyond traditional settings.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in outpatient clinic.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for documentation and order entry
• Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes along with ICD coding standards (ICD-10/ICD-9). Familiarity with Workers' Compensation law and utilization review processes is advantageous.

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
