We handle billing, case management, authorizations, and administrative support, allowing our providers to focus on delivering quality medical care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team on a part-time basis with opportunity for growth. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive evaluations, follow-up care, treatment planning, and work status assessments for federal workers with occupational injuries and illnesses.
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking flexible scheduling, minimal administrative burden, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in patients' recovery journeys.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and follow-up medical re-evaluations.
- Obtain detailed medical histories and perform focused physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage occupational injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
- Review diagnostic studies including X-rays, MRI reports, CT scans, and specialist recommendations.
- Complete OWCP-related documentation including CA-17s, CA-20s, work restrictions, and medical narratives.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as medically appropriate.
- Coordinate care with physical therapists, specialists, case managers, and supervising physicians.
- Educate patients regarding their diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, and return-to-work expectations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in periodic chart reviews with supervising physician.
- Ensure compliance with federal OWCP guidelines and clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
- DEA registration preferred but not required.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience in occupational medicine, family practice, urgent care, orthopedics, pain management, physical medicine & rehabilitation, workers' compensation, or primary care preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and electronic documentation.
- OWCP experience is not required. We provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support

Schedule
- Part-time (1 day per week)
- Opportunity for additional clinic days as patient volume grows if needed.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
- Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity available.
