Position

Neighborhood Urgent Care is searching for a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant to provide acute and/or problem focused care to patients under the general supervision of a Primary Care Physician. Under the direction of the physician, the NP/PA will provide medical management, patient education, and care coordination to patients requiring care for acute care needs.

Experience Requirements:

One year as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant level experience in an Urgent Care or Family practice setting. Three years experience as a NP/PA preferred.

Educational Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant program. BSN degree required. MSN degree preferred.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

RN License with NC Board of Nursing: Advanced Practice Nursing Practitioner License with NC Board of Nursing. Registration with NC Board of Medical Examiners, BLS, ACLS.

Hours of Work: Wed & Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm
