<p></p><div><p>Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to join our Pain Clinic to assume care of specific patients under the direction of on-duty physician. The Midlevel will follow established procedures and practices for patient care.</p>
<ul><li>Confer with Physician concerning assigned patients to determine best course of treatment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Counsel patient and family regarding treatment plan.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Make referral of patients to other medical providers or facilities when appropriate.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Be comfortable discussing and weaning narcotics.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Evaluate patients and book appropriate interventional pain procedures for physician.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform joint injections, trigger point injections, Botox for migraines within scope of practice.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Employee needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment seeing up to 30 patients a day.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Willing to train candidate for Pain Clinic duties.</li></ul></div>
