Nurse Practitioner/Physician Asst. - Omaha

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate locum Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our family practice worksite health clinic on the north side of Omaha. This is a long-term leave coverage opportunity, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive clinical environment while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Schedule:

Monday — Off

Tuesday and Thursday — 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday and Friday — 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs general medical care including examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-ups, consultations and education.
  • Provides Health Coaching and Education as an integral part of all patient care.
  • Follows patient progress and makes changes in treatment as necessary.
  • Orders and interprets laboratory studies/examinations to determine treatment, orders medication and other forms of treatment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Asst. in the state of Nebraska (Iowa also preferred)
  • 2+ years of clinical practice in a primary care setting preferable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
