Houston Kidney Specialists Center (HKSC) is a multi-location nephrology practice serving the greater Houston area since 2019. The practice offers advanced diagnostic testing and treatment services at four convenient locations: two in Cypress and two in Houston, Texas. The dedicated team of board-certified nephrologists at Houston Kidney Specialists Center strives to provide care, comfort, and relief to all patients.

Unparalleled in its approach, the Panoramic Health network prioritizes putting providers at the center of care to ensure the highest quality of patient care. You can join this nationwide network through HKSC , which is seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join their team. This opportunity is open to candidates of all experience levels, though those with dialysis or nephrology experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology for candidates with no prior nephrology experience. Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred).

Hiring Package

• Starting base salary $105,000-$110,000 (staring base DOE and credentials) + annual bonus
• Base weekend differential around $6,500
• PTO, CME, Travel allowance, Malpractice coverage, License renewals and Facility Credentialing
  
  
  

Schedule Details

• Monday-Friday Daytime
• Office/ Dialysis NP: No weekends
• Inpatient/Dialysis NP: rotational weekends
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree program in nursing, with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
• 1 year experience as APP required
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.
