Job Summary:

The Nurse Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing support and oversight to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants while delivering high-quality nursing care on the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and support to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants.
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient exams and gather patient history.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality indicators as defined by governing bodies.
  • Deliver patient education and counseling tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain strong communication with team members to achieve the vision and mission of the health center.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and training plans for supervisees.
  • Facilitate open communication through regular staff meetings.
  • Coordinate workflow within department to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Integrated Health Services.


Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses.
  • Licensed as a RN in Missouri with current licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
  • Two years of experience as a RN in a physician office setting is highly desired.
  • OR
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Licensed as an LPN in Missouri with current licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
  • Three years of experience as an LPN in a physician office setting is highly desired.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
  • Must be willing to obtain licensure in additional states and provide telehealth services as needed.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Must provide evidence of being free of infectious and contagious diseases, such as TB before starting employment and annually thereafter.


Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, or pull.
  • Involves primarily sitting, with occasional walking or standing during work hours.
