Job Summary:
The Nurse Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing support and oversight to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants while delivering high-quality nursing care on the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and support to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient exams and gather patient history.
- Ensure compliance with all quality indicators as defined by governing bodies.
- Deliver patient education and counseling tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain strong communication with team members to achieve the vision and mission of the health center.
- Conduct performance evaluations and training plans for supervisees.
- Facilitate open communication through regular staff meetings.
- Coordinate workflow within department to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Integrated Health Services.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses.
- Licensed as a RN in Missouri with current licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
- Two years of experience as a RN in a physician office setting is highly desired.
- OR
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Licensed as an LPN in Missouri with current licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
- Three years of experience as an LPN in a physician office setting is highly desired.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain licensure in additional states and provide telehealth services as needed.
Additional Qualifications:
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Must provide evidence of being free of infectious and contagious diseases, such as TB before starting employment and annually thereafter.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, or pull.
- Involves primarily sitting, with occasional walking or standing during work hours.
