NURSE INTERN PROGRAM

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital is excited to invite student nurses to apply and gain hands-on experience by working one-on-one with an experienced nurse!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• 1:1 experience working with an RN
• Opportunities to enhance nursing skills
• Increase understanding of nursing processes
• Build critical thinking skills

ELIGIBILITY: Registered Nurse students who have completed at least:

• 2 semesters of an ADN program at the time the Internship begins

OR

• 3 years of a BSN program at the time the Internship begins

HOURS:

• 10-week paid internship, flexible, occasional status
• You may work up to 36 hours per week as your school schedule permit

: $18.00/hour [no shift or weekend differentials apply]

THE PROCESS: Following your application, you will hear from one of our Nursing-focused Talent Delivery Partners. We will conduct a telephone interview to discuss your areas of interest.

Aspirus Health begins Registered Nurse Internships three times throughout the calendar year at ALL Aspirus hospital locations in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 4 bed ICU, 3 bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 10 patients per day. The outpatient clinic has over 50,000 visits annually.
