Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

• Develop and implement unit goals, objectives, and policies in collaboration with the Director of Nursing

• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and performance evaluations

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Conduct quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff development

• Develop and manage unit budgets and resources

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of unit activities and patient care

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
