Nursery English Teacher

Job Summary:

The Nursery English Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children. The teacher will deliver lessons in English following the HEI Schools Finnish-inspired curriculum , fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily activities aligned with the HEI Schools curriculum and learning objectives.
• Provide a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes children’s emotional and social development.
• Foster the use of English through interactive play, songs, storytelling, and classroom routines.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with support staff to maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Ensure adherence to all nursery health, safety, and hygiene policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
