Nursery Sales & Operations Manager

PrivaTree is a rapidly growing wholesale privacy tree provider. We are a lean, high-energy team looking for a "blank slate" contributor—a high-level operator ready to jump into a fast-paced environment and help shape the future of our business.

This is a dual sales and operations role. You will help manage the sales lifecycle: from proactively hunting for new busines to closing sales deals in person at our Ridgefield yard. Additionally, you will have a voice and a role in company operations and supply chain . At PrivaTree, no two days are exactly the same. You might spend your morning meeting customers on site, your afternoon working on digital lead flows or streamlining company and yard logistics. You will work hand and hand with management.

  • Management Path: We are looking for a partner in growth. General business management skills are a huge plus, as this role is designed to evolve into broader leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-Person Sales & Consulting: Greet customers at our Ridgefield location, provide expert advice on our privacy horticulture and close sales on-site.
  • Proactive Business Development: Take the initiative to seek out new prospective business. You will be responsible for emailing and calling landscape contractors, developers, and property managers to build a robust B2B pipeline.
  • High-Volume Digital Lead Management: Qualify and convert a heavy flow of incoming online inquiries from our automated systems into scheduled lot visits or direct sales. Must be quick and engaged.
  • Logistics & Process Excellence: Use your operational expertise to streamline everything from inventory tracking to delivery logistics to marketing and advertising to ensure we scale without losing quality.

Requirements

  • Sales Hunter Mentality: Essential. You must be comfortable with outbound calling and emailing to generate new business. You don't just wait for the phone to ring—you make it ring.
  • Logistics & Operational Expertise: Essential. You must have a proven track record of managing processes and improving efficiency in a fast-moving environment.
  • Tech-Savvy & Innovative: Experience with ManyChat, Meta Ads, Apollo, or CRM tools is a huge plus. We want someone on the cutting edge who uses technology to work smarter and advance our systems. Marketing and advertising experience a plus.
  • Management Aptitude: Strong organizational skills are a must. You will manage initiatives and data (including basic bookkeeping) without constant oversight.
  • On-Site Commitment: Availability to work on-site in Ridgefield 4–7 days a week during peak seasons.

Pay: $20.00 - $100.00 per hour
