Nursery Teacher

Objective: To provide nurturing care and structured learning for children aged 6 months to 2 years, fostering a foundation for lifelong learning.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute activities that stimulate sensory, motor skills and early cognitive development.

Organize age-appropriate activities to support physical, emotional and social development.

Facilitate story time, interactive play sessions, arts and crafts.

Provide attentive care, including feeding and ensuring naps are scheduled.

Encourage early social skills such as sharing, turn-taking and basic communication.

Introduce simple concepts through songs, rhymes and stories.

Keep detailed records of each child's milestones and communicate regularly with the Head of Department (HOD).

Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the classroom, nursery materials and learning spaces.

Collaborate with caregivers and other staff members to ensure consistent care and support.

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
