Jack and Jill Nursery wants a Class Teacher of Early Years to create a safe, nurturing environment, developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, monitoring child development, and communicating with parents to support young children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play and engaging activities. They manage a positive classroom, ensure safety, and collaborate with colleagues to foster a love of learning. Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Activities: Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and creative play to stimulate learning and development.
- Classroom Environment: Establish a warm, stimulating, and safe classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity, independence, and positive social interactions.
- Child Development Monitoring: Observe, assess, and document each child's progress in various areas, providing regular updates to parents and guardians.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers about their child's development, behavior, and progress.
- Safety & Well-being: Ensure that health and safety standards are met, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and provide overall care for the children.
- Collaboration: Work with other teachers, staff, and management to develop curriculum, share best practices, and support school-wide initiatives.
