Nursing Assistant

Nursing Assistant (Contract) – NY 14456

Pay: $736 – $840

Schedule:

• Full-Time, 3x12-hour shifts per week

• Day and/or Night shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Every other weekend (EOW) required

• Holidays required

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care (vitals, ADLs, feeding)

• Ensure safety, comfort, and mobility support

• Document care and report patient changes

• Assist with rounding and follow care plans

• Float to SSMH as needed

Requirements

• BLS (AHA or RQI only) – Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Post-secondary education in Health/Human Services preferred

• 1–2 years customer service and/or healthcare experience (Med/Surg, ED, ICU preferred)

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills

• Knowledge of nursing assistant role and patient care practices

• Ability to work with all patient age groups

• Must follow safety protocols (bloodborne pathogen exposure possible)

• Local candidates and CNAs accepted
