About the role:

The nursing assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, supporting patients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety in a clinical or home-care setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide basic bedside care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility).
• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and ambulation, including the use of mobility aids.
• Support nurses and doctors during examinations and simple procedures as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, equipment, and common areas.
• Observe, report, and document any changes in patient condition or unusual incidents promptly.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and respectful communication to patients and families.
• Follow infection control, health, and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed Nursing Assistant / CNA training program and current certificate or country‑equivalent license, where required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience as a nursing assistant, caregiver, or similar role (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification (preferred or required, depending on facility).
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; additional languages are an advantage.
