Nursing Executive Assistant

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Nursing Executive Assistant is responsible for administrative and clerical functions for the Vice President of Patient Care and back up assistance for the CEO. This position is also the main nursing scheduler and time keeping for all nursing departments.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Creates a friendly, cooperative impression for visitors and personnel.
  • Schedules, completes agendas and meeting minutes for all nursing departments.
  • Assist leadership and staff with employee expense and reimbursement through the Concur program.
  • Maintain Kronos time keeping system and edit logs for all nursing departments.
  • Assists nursing staff with certification/education sign up and monitors the education dollars for both unions.
  • Maintain the Policy Stat program used to facilitate our policy review system and assures the proper policies go to the perspective committees for approval.
  • Maintains marketing sponsorship with direction from the CEO.
Job Requirements
Required
High School Graduate or equivalent

Preferred
Program for executive/administrative assistant program
Clerical/secretarial experience in a clinic/hospital setting

Pay Range

$20.86 - $29.46 /hour
