Job Summary:
We are looking for a competent and experienced Nursing In-Charge to lead and supervise nursing staff, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and support nursing staff in their daily duties
- Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and delegation of responsibilities
- Monitor patient care to ensure it meets hospital standards and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, staff performance, and shift reports
- Oversee inventory and availability of medical supplies and equipment
- Train and mentor junior nursing staff and newly recruited nurses
- Handle patient or family complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for integrated care
- Enforce infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance activities
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN); a Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, hospital protocols, and patient care standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
Work Environment:
- Hospital wards (ICU, emergency, surgical, general, etc.)
- Clinics or specialty healthcare facilities
- Shift-based work including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
