Job Title: Nursing Informatics Specialist / Nursing Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Nursing Informatics Specialist bridges the gap between clinical practice and information technology. This role involves leveraging nursing knowledge, data analytics, and informatics tools to enhance patient care, optimize clinical workflows, and support healthcare technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· System Implementation & Management:

o Design, implement, and maintain Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other clinical applications – Nursing Module

o Act as a liaison between clinical staff and IT department.

o Participate in system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting.

o Should work towards improvement of Nursing module

o Discuss with the Nursing Teams and understand the pain points and translate the problems to the IT department for solutions

· Training & Support:

o Understand the Training needs of the Nursing staffs.

o Develop and deliver training programs for nursing staff

o Provide ongoing support and education for end-users.

o Create necessary Training materials and Training videos.

· Data Analysis & Quality Improvement:

o Analyse clinical data to identify trends and improve patient outcomes.

o Use informatics tools to support evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.

· Policy & Compliance:

o Assist in developing policies and procedures for health information systems.

o Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

· Strategic Planning & Innovation:

o Contribute to organizational planning related to technology and data management.

o Monitor trends in healthcare technology and recommend updates or innovations.

Qualifications:

· Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).

o Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics or related field (preferred).

· Licensure & Certification:

o Registered Nurse license.

o Certification in Nursing stream is a plus.

· Experience:

o Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.

o Experience in informatics or health IT roles preferred.

o Project management and quality improvement experience desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare systems.

· Proficiency in EMR platforms.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments.

· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
