Job Responsibilities: Patient Care Management

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients in ITU / HDU / CCU / Ward.
• Monitor vital parameters:
• Blood Pressure
• Pulse
• Respiratory Rate
• SpO₂
• Temperature
• ECG Monitoring
• CVP Monitoring (if applicable)
• Observe patient condition and immediately report any abnormality to the Duty Doctor.

Medication & Treatment

• Administer medicines, IV fluids and injections as per doctor’s order.
• Prepare and maintain emergency drugs and crash cart.
• Assist doctors during procedures like:
• Intubation
• Central Line Insertion
• Defibrillation
• Temporary Pacemaker insertion
• Cardioversion
• Maintain infusion pumps and syringe pumps properly.

Cardiac Monitoring

• Continuous ECG monitoring of cardiac patients.
• Identify arrhythmias and inform the doctor immediately.
• Care of post-angiography / post-angioplasty / post-cardiac surgery patients.

Infection Control

• Follow strict infection control practices and hand hygiene protocol.
• Use PPE kits as per ICU protocol.
• Follow Bio-Medical Waste (BMW) Management guidelines

• Documentation
• Maintain accurate nursing records:
• Intake & Output Chart
• Nursing Assessment Sheet
• Medication Chart
• Vital Chart
• Procedure Notes
• Update patient condition in HMS software regularly.

Emergency Handling

• Attend emergency cases and assist in CPR if required.
• Prepare patient for emergency procedures and transfer if needed.

Ward Management

• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of beds and equipment.
• Educate patients and relatives regarding treatment and care plan.
• Maintain proper handover during shift change.

Compliance

• Follow NABH protocols and hospital policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.

Required Qualification:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with valid registration.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 year experience in CCU / Cardiac Care Unit preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
