The Nursing Superintendent oversees and manages all nursing operations within the hospital or healthcare facility. This role ensures high standards of patient care, effective staff management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The Nursing Superintendent leads the nursing team, formulates nursing policies, and fosters a safe, efficient, and compassionate healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all nursing services in the hospital.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures.
• Plan duty rosters and ensure adequate nurse staffing.
• Supervise nursing staff performance, training, and discipline.
• Maintain compliance with hospital standards and accreditation norms (NABH/JCI).
• Coordinate with medical and administrative departments for smooth operations.
• Oversee infection control practices and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Manage nursing supplies, equipment, and resource allocation.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:Msc/ Bsc/ Pbbsc/ Gnm Nursing

Experience: 4 to 8 Years
