Job responsibilities

A nursing superintendent is responsible for the overall management of nursing services in a hospital. Their duties include:

• Planning and organization: Planning and organizing the development of nursing services, including the allocation of resources and the formulation of nursing policies and procedures
• Staffing: Overseeing staffing needs and the orientation of new staff
• Patient care: Ensuring the quality of patient care, including the supervision of nursing care and the maintenance of cleanliness and equipment
• Records and reports: Maintaining records and reports, including health leave records and confidential reports
• Staff welfare: Supervising the health needs and welfare of nursing staff, and counseling and guiding them
• Discipline: Maintaining discipline among nursing staff
• Meetings: Attending meetings with top management and other hospital authorities, and organizing meetings with nursing staff
• Training: Developing staff through training programs
• Liaison: Acting as a liaison between the hospital and other organizations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
