Nursing Superintendent

Position: Nursing Superintendent (NS)

Role Overview:

The Nursing Superintendent will be responsible for leading and managing nursing services, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and operational efficiency across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage overall nursing operations and patient care services

* Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and clinical protocols

* Plan and monitor nursing staffing, duty rosters, and manpower utilization

* Implement patient safety and quality improvement initiatives

* Coordinate with medical, paramedical, and administrative teams

* Conduct training, competency assessments, and performance evaluations of nursing staff

* Monitor patient care quality indicators and infection control practices

Eligibility Criteria:

* B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)

* Valid Nursing Registration Certificate

* Minimum relevant experience 7 years and above in a leadership/managerial nursing role

* Strong knowledge of NABH standards and hospital quality practices

* Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
