Nurturing Nanny Needed for one Toddler in Two-Mom Household
Location:Bernardsville, NJ
Schedule:
- 26 hours/week avg.
- 4 weekdays (of nanny’s choice)
- 8:00am – 2:00pm (flexible to end at 1:30pm if nanny desires)
- 2 date nights per month 6:30-10:30pm, agreed upon in advance between nanny and family, on weekdays or weekends
Length:Long-term — the family is seeking someone who can grow with them, with the potential to move into a full-time role in the future
Start Date:ASAP, flexible for the right person
Pay:$30 per hour

About the Child:
Child A (13 months old): A joyful, giggly toddler who loves interactive play, exploration, and outdoor time.
*The family hopes to welcome a second child in the near future and is seeking someone open to growing in the role.

Requirements:
- Clean driver’s license and reliable car (mileage reimbursed)
- Flu vaccine preferred but not required. COVID NOT required
- Comfortable with two friendly dogs
- Optional: Occasional travel: 1–2 week-long vacations per year
Responsibilities:
Child-Focused Care:
- Feeding bottles and meals
- Supporting sleep and soothing routines
- Play-based, developmentally supportive learning
- Interactive engagement and supervised independent play
- Daily outdoor time
- Researching local, age-appropriate activities
- Assisting with playdates
- Providing warmth, presence, and safety
Light Household Support:
- Washing bottles and feeding items
- Washing and putting away baby laundry (as naps allow)
- Tidying spaces used throughout the day (leaving the home as it was found)
- Helping brainstorm healthy meals
- Maintaining an organized, peaceful environment that supports the child’s well-being
Important Notes:
- Mom will be in and out of the home — nanny must be comfortable working both alongside a parent and independently
- Must be comfortable with dogs
- The role will naturally evolve as the family grows, with potential to become full time long term if desired
Pay: $30.00 per hour
