Oak Ballroom Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences for our guests while maintaining a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Your expertise in bartending, along with your knowledge of food safety and hospitality, will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for banquets or catering events as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health codes.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as necessary.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the restaurant or nightclub environment.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Familiarity with food safety practices within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in fine dining or catering settings is a plus but not required.
