Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and committed Medical Assistants to join our team and grow with us. This is a dual-role position where you will provide both clinical support and medical scribing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning, a positive attitude, and a strong devotion to patient care and privacy. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient encounters, including patient history, exam findings, and treatment plans in the EMR in real time.
• Provide and document direct patient care, including patient triage.
• Reinforce patient education as directed by the physician.
• Administer injections and assist with in-office procedures.
• Perform telephone triage, including patient follow-up and managing medication requests.
• Maintain and prepare exam rooms by stocking and ordering supplies.
• Ensure all patient records and documentation are handled with strict privacy ethics.
• Assist the physician in exam rooms during procedures and examinations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required. A Medical Assisting degree is preferred, but we will also consider strong CNA candidates.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR software and a strong understanding of computer systems is a requirement.
• Must possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Devotion to patient care, quality of work, and privacy ethics is essential.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities at any given time.
• Willingness to travel between two local office locations is required.
• Bilingual candidates are considered a plus.
