Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to women with a focus on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the female reproductive system.
Schedule: Two full days of outpatient clinic and one 24-hour labor and delivery shift per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care for patients.
Perform routine and high-risk obstetric procedures, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions such as menstrual disorders, infections, infertility, and menopause-related issues.
Conduct annual well-woman exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
Perform gynecological surgeries, such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and D&Cs.
Educate patients on birth control options, reproductive health, and disease prevention.
Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Board certified.
Valid and unrestricted state medical license.
DEA license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision making and problem solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with high risk pregnancies and complex gynecologic cases.
Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
