Observability

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

Strong hands-on experience with observability tools:

• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), OpenTelemetry.

Expertise in distributed tracing and metrics collection.

Familiarity with cloud-native observability (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite).

Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation with exposure to UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting

Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability in microservices.

Strong understanding of SRE principles, SLIs/SLOs, and alerting strategies.

Good-to-Have(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

Experience with APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).

Knowledge of AI-driven observability and anomaly detection.

Familiarity with service mesh observability (Istio, Linkerd).

Exposure to event-driven architectures and streaming observability (Kafka monitoring).

Understanding of security monitoring and compliance in observability.

Knowledge of network monitoring protocols primarily SNMP, Syslog.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and technologies is a plus.
