Occasional Sitter Needed (Autism Experience Preferred) – Covington, GA

4Elite Specialty Care is seeking a reliable, patient, and experienced caregiver for a wonderful family located in Covington, GA (30016). This position is ideal for someone looking for occasional/as-needed hours, including overnights, weekends, and coverage during a family vacation in November.

About the Family:

• 2 children (ages 3 & 10)
• 3-year-old is nonverbal (Autism Level 3) and currently potty training
• 10-year-old will need light tutoring and structured support

Responsibilities:

• Transporting child to daycare (vehicle provided)
• Supporting potty training and developmental milestones
• Engaging children in educational activities and play
• Assisting with tutoring and time management for school-aged child
• Preparing children’s meals/snacks
• Light housekeeping related to children (tidying, kitchen wipe-downs)
• Managing daily routines and schedules

Ideal Candidate:

• Patient, calm, and adaptable
• Strong communicator with a nurturing approach
• Organized, reliable, and proactive
• Comfortable managing multiple children with different needs

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Experience with autism/special needs (ABA/RBT highly preferred)
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Background in child development or similar field

Additional Details:

• Occasional/as-needed schedule
• Overnights and weekends required as needed
• Vacation coverage needed in November (24th–27th)
• No pets in the home
• Caregiver must have a valid driver’s license
