What Do We Expect From You?

Qualifications:

• University degree

• Minimum 3 years of experience (retail sector preferred)

• Advanced English

• Certificates: Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, OHS Certificate

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated OHS Specialist to ensure a safe and healthy work environment across offices, stores, and construction sites, fully compliant with local laws, regulations, and company standards. This role includes field visits, risk assessments, safety training, and coordination with management and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace evaluations, risk assessments, and inspections; report findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local OHS laws and company safety policies; update management on regulatory changes.
• Lead preventive measures to reduce workplace accidents and occupational illnesses.
• Organize recruitment and periodic medical examinations for employees.
• Develop and review OHS procedures, instructions, and emergency plans.
• Deliver OHS, fire safety, electrical safety, and first aid training.
• Oversee maintenance, testing, and inspections of equipment and safety systems.
• Liaise with authorities, accompany inspections, and manage non-conformities.
• Supervise safety requirements in construction projects and subcontractor agreements.
• Lead fire and evacuation drills; prepare reports for management.
• Manage OHS budgets and outsourced safety services.
• Foster an OHS culture across all departments.
• Travel: Required for stores visits and inspections.
