What we expect

• Occupational Health and Safety Specialist as required under Turkish legislation, provides on OSH matters, in connection with Local and International Legislative Framework and OSH Policy,
• Taking active role in accordance with the OSH manager at work regulations as well as corporate Safety & Health and Environment continuous improvement activities,
• Developing, implementing and enforcing management system within the local organization,
• Carrying out risk assessments, planning and following corrective & preventive activities according to risk assessment outcomes,
• Carrying out site inspections, completing site visit reports and submit,
• Organizing and providing necessary Occupational safety and health – related training in line with local regulation
• Monitoring work related incidents, investigating these incidents with local managers and supervisors, Reporting these incidents to the global organization,
• Conducting periodic review of local safety documents such as policies, intructions, forms etc. and making recommendations for improvement
• Following up subcontractor’s competence, lead to PM/ Service managers and subcontractors in OSH matters.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering department of reputable universities,
• A Class Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in construction jobsites. Experience i elevator / escalator or construction sector is highly preferred,
• Familiar with ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 management system,
• At least upper intermediate level of English
• No restrictions to travel ( position requires at least % 30 travelling)
• Excellent knowledge MS Office ( powerpoint , word, excel etc.)
• Ability to travel B Class driving license ,
• Located or willing to live in Ankara
