Occupational Therapist

Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks an Occupational Therapist to work 1 day per week with preschool age students in the Boyertown, PA area for a short-term leave. Treatment day must be Thursdays. Additional caseload opportunities available following the leave or to augment your current caseload!

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:

• Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
• Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the student’s potential.
• Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
• Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
• Travel may be required throughout the school day.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited OT educational program.
• Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
