Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy to improve daily living and working skills of patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability.
  • Design rehabilitation programs focusing on independence, mobility, and functionality.
  • Use adaptive equipment and techniques to assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans when necessary.
  • Educate patients and families about therapy programs, home exercises, and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and clinical best practices.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred).
  • License: DHA / MOH / DOH license or Eligibility Letter (mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, patient management, and rehabilitation planning skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
