Occupational Therapist

Assess clients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities through standardized evaluations and observations

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and medical recommendations

Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, mobility, coordination, sensory processing, and cognitive function

Train clients in the use of adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications

Educate clients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, progress, and strategies for ongoing support

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, educators, and social workers

Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards

Advocate for clients’ needs and support community reintegration where applicable

Stay current with best practices, research, and continuing professional development
