Occupational Therapist

Job Summary

Sukoon Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver structured, patient-centric occupational therapy interventions across OPD, IPD, and Rehabilitation services. The role focuses on improving patients’ functional abilities, emotional regulation, coping skills, and life skills through individualized, evidence-based therapy plans, supporting holistic recovery and reintegration into daily life.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychosocial functioning
• Identify patient needs, goals, strengths, and barriers to recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather inputs for treatment planning

Treatment Planning & Implementation

• Develop individualized occupational therapy plans aligned with clinical goals
• Design and deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions
• Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance functional independence

Therapeutic Interventions

• Conduct activities to improve physical strength, coordination, and cognitive functioning
• Support emotional regulation, stress management, and adaptive coping skills
• Deliver life-skills training to support community reintegration

Progress Monitoring & Documentation

• Regularly review patient progress and modify treatment plans as required
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation as per hospital protocols

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and allied therapists
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions

Family & Caregiver Education

• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic goals and home-based support strategies
• Provide guidance to promote continuity of care outside the clinical setting

Compliance & Ethical Practice

• Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of occupational therapy practice
• Stay updated with current research and best practices in mental health occupational therapy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
