Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time & Per Diem

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team in both Full-Time and Per Diem roles. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Assess physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial functioning to determine therapy needs.
Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), mobility, strength, coordination, and independence.
Establish measurable goals and regularly reassess patient progress.
Modify treatment plans as appropriate based on patient response and clinical findings.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, home exercise programs, and safety strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility, state, federal, and payer requirements.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state regulations and professional standards.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning activities.
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Texas Occupational Therapist license in good standing, or eligibility for licensure.
Current CPR certification preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, inpatient, or outpatient settings preferred.
