Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Assessment and Therapy Team

Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.0 | Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM

Salary Range: $43.31 - $59.55.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services to a wide variety of patients and works closely with others on the rehabilitation team and in other departments. The Occupational Therapists provide patients and clients with quality, cost effective services aimed at optimizing independent function.

Hours of work may vary according to patient care needs and this role provides weekend and holiday work as assigned. Individuals may be assigned permanently, temporarily or simultaneously to more than one worksite where specific job requirements are described as an addendum to this document. For this reason, therapists are expected to be generalists able to provide at least basic assessment to all referred patients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • OT: Occupational Therapist licensed by Oregon State Board of Occupational Therapy required upon start - OR - a temporary OT permit issued by the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board (OT-Limited) will be accepted for new hires awaiting permanent Licensure. Permanent license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
