Alia National School & Alia Autism Center in Bahrain is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children and young adults with autism and developmental needs.
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment alongside educators, behavior analysts, and therapists to deliver individualized, evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Deliver therapy sessions focusing on sensory integration, fine motor skills, daily living skills, and self-regulation.

Support students with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions in school and therapy settings.

Collaborate with teachers, ABA therapists, and parents to ensure consistency of interventions.

Develop and implement sensory diets and classroom strategies.
-
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress tracking.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed/eligible for licensing in Bahrain (NHRA preferred).

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pediatrics or working with autism.

Experience in sensory integration and school-based therapy preferred.

Strong understanding of autism, behavior management, and inclusive practices.

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
