Position : Procurement / Pricing - Ocean Export (Freehand / Nomination dept.)

Experience: Min 2+ years in procurement /pricing - Ocean Export dept.

· Having relevant work experience in Ocean Export procurement /pricing role is mandatory.
Job description for Procurement / Pricing role: Ocean Export Dept.:

· Understand the requirements of the customer/overseas agent and act accordingly, if there is an incomplete information, immediately ask for the same from the customer

· Prepare and quote to various pricing enquiries to generate prospective shipment opportunities.

· Provide support to prepare competitive and consistent pricing proposals according to pricing policies and standards.

· Negotiating rates from Shipping Lines / agents.

· Talk to the customer/over seas agent and try to convert more business.

· Address any customer/agent queries related to pricing

· Ensure seamless handover of confirmed bookings to the operations or customer service teams

· Regularly engage with existing customers /overseas agent to negotiate better terms and ensure service quality.

· Maintain and develop strong relationships with shipping lines, co-loaders, agents.

· Build rapport with shippers and customers/overseas agents to foster loyalty and repeat business.

· Supporting sales team for pricing-related inquiries & meet deadlines.
