Ocular Aesthetician

We are seeking a skilled and personable Optometric Technician with a background in Aesthetics. This dual-role position is ideal for Aestheticians who would like to transition into a medical environment that still involves their education and expertise!

At Northgate Vision and Dry Eye Clinic we are redefining what it means to care for skin and ocular health! This is not a typical spa role, you will be working alongside a doctor in a fast-growing dry eye specialty clinic, helping patients heal- not just relax.

Your role would include assisting the doctor with patient procedures, including but not limited to IPL, Radio Frequency, and Dynamic Muscle Stimulation. You will be in charge of sanitation, education of proper patient aftercare, and other clinic duties. You will also support clinical flow by pretesting and working up patients, including gathering case history, performing advanced diagnostic testing (OCT, visual fields, fundus photography), and preparing patients for examination. On the job training will be provided as needed for any and all responsibilities.

What we are looking for:
-Licensed Aesthetician (required)
-Proficiency in understanding of skincare ingredients

-Advanced aesthetic application such as IPL, RF and DMSt

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
