Job Summary
The
Director – Organization Development (OD)
will lead enterprise-wide OD initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce productivity, and cultural alignment within a healthcare environment. The role partners closely with executive leadership, clinical leaders, and HR teams to design and implement strategic change, talent development, and performance improvement initiatives while supporting patient-centric outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Development & Change Management

Design and lead OD strategies aligned with organizational goals and healthcare delivery priorities

Drive enterprise change management initiatives including restructuring, mergers, expansions, and digital transformation

Facilitate culture transformation programs that reinforce patient care excellence, safety, and compliance
Leadership & Talent Development

Design and implement leadership development frameworks for senior leaders, physicians, and managers

Coach executive leaders and high-potential talent on leadership effectiveness and change leadership

Oversee succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership capability building
Performance & Workforce Effectiveness

Develop performance management frameworks aligned with clinical and operational outcomes

Partner with HR and business leaders to improve workforce productivity, engagement, and retention

Lead employee engagement surveys, diagnostics, and action planning
Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with clinical leadership, hospital administrators, and corporate teams to align people strategy with business needs

Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on organizational effectiveness and culture

Collaborate with Learning & Development, Talent Management, and HR Operations teams
Data, Analytics & Governance

Use workforce analytics, OD diagnostics, and benchmarks to inform decisions

Ensure OD initiatives comply with healthcare regulations, labor laws, and accreditation standards

Track ROI and effectiveness of OD programs and interventions
Required Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, , Business Administration, or related field

Proven experience leading OD initiatives in healthcare or regulated industries
-
Strong expertise in change management, leadership development, and culture transformation
-
Experience working with senior executives and clinical leaders
-
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Master’s in Organization Development
-
Certifications in OD, Change Management (e.g., Prosci, Kotter), or Executive Coaching
-
Experience in hospitals, healthcare systems, pharma, or health-tech organizations
