Odoo Accountant - Odoo must

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in Odoo ERP to reconcile historical financial records and ensure accurate data entry into the system.

This is a direct employment role with our firm. The selected candidate will be deployed at a client site for a defined assignment period. Following a short client evaluation phase(paid), the employee will be sponsored under the company’s employment visa. Upon completion of the client assignment, the employee will be reassigned back to the firm in Dubai.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Days: Monday to Saturday
Tentative Deployment Duration: 8–9 months.
Visa: Visit visa with prior UAE experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, reconcile, and rectify historical accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Accurately input and verify financial transactions within the Odoo ERP system.
• Record backlog entries and perform reconciliation of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Conduct bank reconciliations and obtain balance confirmations where required.
• Ensure correct chart of accounts mapping and maintain accurate financial reporting within Odoo.
• Liaise with management to support seamless system implementation and alignment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in an accounting, auditing, or consultancy firm preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and VAT compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client interactions effectively.
• Proven hands-on experience working with Odoo ERP (mandatory).
• Must be immediately available to join or with short notice period.
