Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Odoo ERP Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation by analyzing requirements, configuring the Odoo system, and ensuring successful ERP rollouts. This role requires strong functional expertise, technical understanding, and the ability to work with both business users and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and map them to Odoo ERP functionalities.

• Strong knowledge of core Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting/Finance, CRM, HR, Payroll, Projects) and end-to-end business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Hire-to-Retire).

• Configure and customize Odoo modules; develop custom features using Python and XML as required.

• Prepare workflows, BRDs, SOPs; conduct functional testing and coordinate UAT.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored ERP solutions.

• Knowledge of reporting, dashboards, ERP best practices & compliance (audit trails, approvals, controls).

• Communicate effectively with business users; translate functional requirements into tasks for developers.

• Conduct end-user training, workshops, demos; lead change management initiatives.

• Experience in ERP implementations (end-to-end or multi-module rollouts).

• Perform data migration, third-party application integration, and API development.

• Familiarity with Odoo database structure (models, fields, relations), data migration, basic APIs/integrations.

• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to optimize business processes.

• Prepare documentation including functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 4+ years of ERP experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on Odoo ERP experience (v13+ preferred).

• Proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript.

• Strong knowledge of business processes in Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and/or Manufacturing.

• Experience with both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions (preferred).

• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and RESTful APIs.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Odoo certification(s).

• Experience in project management or agile methodologies.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Experience with Odoo.sh or Odoo Studio.

Engagement Options

Option 1 – Full-Time Position

• Mode of Work: Remote

• Budget: ₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month

• Joining: Immediate / within 30 days’ notice period

• Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday
