Odoo Functional Consultant is responsible for managing the full cycle of Odoo ERP projects from presales demonstrations and requirements analysis to implementation, integration and post-go-live support. The role requires both functional and technical expertise to deliver tailored Odoo solutions that align with business processes and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in presales activities including client meetings, requirement discussions, and solution scoping.

Prepare and deliver engaging Odoo product demonstrations and POC tailored to specific industries (e.g., Construction, manufacturing, F&B, POS, trading, services).

Collaborate with the sales team to prepare technical proposals, scope of work, and implementation timelines.
Functional Analysis & Implementation

Conduct business process analysis and gather requirements from clients.

Configure and implement Odoo standard modules such as Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, HR, Projects, Manufacturing, etc.

Prepare project documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), and UAT scenarios.
Lead client training sessions and provide continuous post-implementation support.
Project Management & Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines.

Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, progress reports, and documentation.

Communicate effectively with business users and developers to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills:

3+ years of experience in Odoo implementation.

Strong knowledge of Odoo frameworks (Odoo 13–19 preferred).

Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, projects, HR, and manufacturing.

Excellent presentation and communication skills for presales and client demos.

Odoo certification is an advantage.
